Vans' polyurethane footbed also keeps your foot as close to the board as possible with PopCush technology for maximum board feel and perfect cushioning.
In 1966 Paul van Doren produced the first shoe soles that were twice as thick as their predecessors. He used pure crepe rubber without any fillers, so it wasn't long before skaters began to appreciate the qualities. Board feeling, good damping properties and perfect grip - Vans was born.
