Turns and burns

For the past ten years I have wanted to get a freeride board. I tried one a couple of years ago and thought this is a board I wanted to have. I took me some time but I finally went for it. Not only to be used in pow but these board are great in the grooms. Also when its icy, which is common in Norway. I'm 186cm, 88kg and EU 45. My main board is a 168cm directional camber. I had not heard about Season, but the boards specs sounded good. I went for the 159, but I could also have gone for the 153 since they both are wide enough and can hold my weight.
I tried it on a powder day in Norway and it was -18 celsius. Cold but light deep snow and fresh grooms, perfect conditions.First off the look of the board is beautiful. Matte black and cool details. I adjusted my stance all to the front and even so my tail looked really small. I went from riding grooms to pow. The board was amazing and fun. It's stiff and with my weight it's a good thing. It felt super light and yet strong with good edge control. No drag so I can do really steep turns with it. Shorter board then I'm used to but that just made it more fun to turn more and go faster.
A great board if you are looking for a powder board that works great off-piste as carving fast in the grooms. Heavier guys can have a lot of fun with it because of the stiffness it gives. Timeless design and a whole lot a fun! Season are making something really interesting and this might not be my last one from them.
