I´m Nusa and I have been working as a senior customer service agent for BT for the last 8 years.
I´m a passionate surfer girl and love to travel around searching for waves.

I bought this bag, because it´s super light and it has the perfect amount of padding, so that it doesn´t take up much weight while travelling by plane. I always buy surfboard bags few sizes bigger than my actual surfboard, as this allows me to protect the nose of the board a bit more and it also gives me space to add all the surfing gear into the board bag (surf poncho, wetsuits, leashes).
The straps are comfortable to wear over the shoulder and the zip opens up wide enough for easy entry. The only thing I miss in this boardbag is maybe a small pocket where you could add fins.

This boardbag is recommend for everyone who wants to travel with the surfboard. And I would advice to the costumers to choose a size bigger than the board.

I was searching for a budget surfboard bag for my 5'7" Softech shortboard and the Barry Basic was just the perfect choice for my board. As I do not take my softboard on flights with me, I preferred to go with a slightly thinner and lighter bag that can be carried around easily but offers more protection than a surfboard protection sock.

The bag fits my 5'7" surfboard easily and would fit wider / rounder boards too (the width of my board is 20"). The material offers enough protection from sunlight and heat and is thick enough to prevent dings if something should fall onto the board. The zipper is of good quality and the bag also features a shoulder strap as well as a hanging hook that enables to hang the bag and dry it after coming home from the surfing session. In comparison with other bags this one doesn't lack of cool features but sells for a much better price than some other surfboard bags.

The Ocean & Earth Barry Basic Surfboard bag offers good protection for your surf board and I would definitely recommend it to anyone searching for a good surfboard bag that doesn't cost a fortune.
