Smith Altus MIPS Eu Capacete
MAXIMUM PROTECTION AND FUNCTIONALITY FOR THE MOST CRITICAL SITUATIONS
The Smith Altus MIPS® helmet offers absolute protection and comfort featuring the MIPS® system with Koroyd™ and additional features such as the In-Mold construction. Especially in situations that may have ended with serious consequences, the Altus is designed to protect you more effectively.
Let's take a look at the features.
Koroyd®
Koroyd® provides superior shock absorption and improved ventilation. Smith uses cylinders in the crumple zones of this helmet, which absorb energy more efficiently by applying an even load. Koroyd® has less volume than other materials used in helmet construction, making it lighter and more comfortable.
MIPS® Multi-Directional Impact Protection System
Inside of the Altus lies the MIPS® Brain Protection System (BPS). It deflects dangerous forces that would otherwise strike your brain with full force, especially in the case of impacts with a lot of rotational speed.
Construction
The hybrid shell offers durability and lightweight construction.
The VaporFit Snow™-System allows for a precise fit in seconds.
10 ventilation holes provide the airflow you need, and removable, audio-compatible ear pads keep you warm and on the beat.
