Minimalist design with advanced protection
The Oakley MOD1 MIPS® helmet combines a clean, skate-inspired look with functional features and added safety. Fixed ventilation provides consistent airflow and helps prevent goggle fogging. The Fidlock® magnetic buckle allows easy handling with gloves on, while the BOA® 360° Fit System ensures a comfortable, custom fit. The integrated MIPS® Safety System offers added protection by helping to reduce rotational forces during angled impacts.
MIPS® – extra protection in case of angled impacts
Equipped with MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), the MOD1 helps reduce rotational forces caused by angled impacts. A low-friction layer inside the helmet allows slight movement between the head and the helmet, helping to reduce stress on the brain in the event of a crash.
