Two BOA® dials let you fine-tune the fit on the fly, in small steps, whenever you need to. The Custom Slide Guide focuses the pull around the instep and keeps your heel firmly in the heel pocket. Smartwool merino wool in the liner keeps your feet warm and dry, even on long days. A thermal layer around the toe box and sole keeps the cold out. The POPCUSH™ footbed cushions landings and gives back energy, and the flexible rubber compound on the outsole grips reliably on snow and ice, even in freezing temperatures.
