The Jones Frontier 2.0 is your go-to board for exploring the entire mountain - from fresh powder lines to groomed resort runs. It blends the stability and performance of a freeride board with the playful character of a directional twin. It is ideal for riders looking for a forgiving, powerful, and versatile board that shines in all conditions.
Riding Style
Whether drawing new lines, riding through trees, cruising side hits, or carving hardpack with speed, the Frontier 2.0 gives you float, control, and a smooth, surfy feel all over the mountain.
Shape
The directional shape with a slight taper provides enhanced float in deep snow, while the shorter tail improves agility. Traction Tech delivers reliable edge hold even in firm conditions, giving you extra confidence when it counts.
Profile
The directional rocker profile features camber between the bindings, a rockered nose, and a slightly lifted tail. This combination provides stability and pop when needed, forgiving turn initiation, and float when conditions become soft.
Flex
A medium flex perfectly balances responsiveness and playful handling, making it equally fun for fast carves and relaxed, creative lines.
Construction
The Master Core combines Paulownia and Poplar wood for a lightweight yet strong construction that delivers durability, pop, and dampening. The sintered 8000 base is fast, wax-absorbent, and durable across all conditions. A scratch-resistant Premium Topsheet protects your board from daily wear and tear. Biax fibreglass keeps the ride smooth and controlled, while recycled ABS sidewalls boost impact resistance with lower environmental impact.
