When it's Japow deep, the Burton Family Tree Smooth Operator snowboard wants to cut through like butter. This is not your typical surfy powder board. Designed with legendary Japanese team rider Masanori Takeuchi, it blends 3D shaping and full-length control to blast through deep conditions at speed. A single-channel mount system gives you stance options that match the conditions and objectives of the day.
- Freeride Focus: Family Tree boards are designed with a freeride mindset for the best off-piste turns possible.
- 3D Shaping: Surfboard-inspired concave shaping in the tip and tail, combined with a traditional base through the middle, blends edge control and surfy freedom for an unexpected yet responsive ride in all conditions, from deep powder to groomers.
- Directional Camber Bend: A blend of camber under both feet and a rockered nose maintains stability through variable conditions and plenty of float in soft snow.
- Directional Control: Its directional shape and flex keep you carving and slashing with total control.
- Lightweight Feel: Super Fly® 600G Core is a dual-species wood core that is loaded with pop and reduces overall weight without limiting performance.
