Body-hugging, seamless, very breathable 3/4 merino pants for high-winter touring

The Ortovox Competition line is made seamless in a circular knitting process to serve every body zone with the right thickness of merino wool during exertion and cold. The basic rib structure with 190 g/m² merino wool gives the functional pants elasticity for maximum freedom of movement. A particularly breathable mesh structure is used in heatspots, while the 240 g/m² thick wool provides warmth in cold-sensitive zones. This body mapping principle ensures a close fit with maximum ventilation. The delicate merino fibres with a diameter of only 16.5 microns feel pleasantly soft on the skin, while these functional pants are also quick-drying and very durable.

About Ortovox

Ortovox came to life with the invention of the first double frequency transceiver to aid in avalanche victim searches. With their passion for keeping skiers and snowboarders safe, Ortovox has grown into one of the biggest producers of avalanche safety gear on the market. In 1995 they added merino underwear to their selection, and we have been hooked ever since!
