Board zero
of Mathieu, 7 Sep 2018
The Single Skull deck is simply THE classic. Since the beginnings of Zero Skateboards, this graphic has become a cult and has almost become an icon of the skate scene. Meanwhile, it should already be familiar to everyone, whether skater or not. Zero stands out with products of the best quality and was founded by the legendary Pro Skater Jamie Thomas in 1996. The company earned a great reputation in skate culture through outstanding videos like 'Dying to Live' and an incredible pro team. The famous 'Skull' logo is the unmistakable trademark of the company from Carlsbad, California.
All decks are produced at the Dwindle Premium Woodshop according to the single deck press technique. This guarantees the highest quality materials and consistent performance from deck to deck due to individual pressing.
Riding Style
This board is perfect for any terrain. You can skate it on the street as well as on your local skatepark, bowl or miniramp.
Shape
The deck has a modern shape which is preferred by most skaters nowadays. The nose is a bit longer than the tail and the concave keeps you comfortable on your board.
Setup
Deck, wheels, and trucks work together perfectly. The wheels work best on the smooth surface of your local concrete skatepark. The trucks are super stable and lightweight. The Deck is characterized by the tried and tested construction of 7 layers of maple wood.
The actual colours may vary from the product images.
Some skateboard decks have different dyed veneers or bottom colours to what is shown.

Zero came to life at a time when skateboarding was feeling slightly stiff and preppy. Founder Jamie Thomas wanted to cater to the underdog, bringing back the raw and powerful ruggedness of skateboarding. With some of the most influential skate videos to date and a whole new take on graphics, Zero made it to the top of the line at the turn of the century. With a pro team that puts most other brands to shame, Jamie Thomas has been able to continue building and expanding his dream.
