In a sleek and lightweight package, you'll find all the options to customise the Rome Katana to your unique riding style. Thanks to features such as PivotMount technology and the lightweight AsymWrap baseplate with DuraCush™, it weighs very little. You can adjust the flex and pop according to your wishes and are prepared for any terrain with the Katana. From the snowy mountain top to the park.

Highback
The AsymChannel Highback is a more flexible highback in the Rome product line-up, but the reactivity has been slightly increased to improve performance for turns and tricks on the heel edge. The unique highback canting allows you to adjust the highback exactly to the lateral angle of your foot.

Baseplate
New this year, the Katana comes with the AsymWrap baseplate and additional DuraCush™ cushioning for light weight and plenty of comfort on hard landings. AsymWrap technology is a special heel strap design that provides a soft, flexible ride. Perfect for riders who like to surf the backcountry and tweak their tricks.

Straps
New this season are the UltraFlex Pro Ankle Straps, the next generation of the legendary AuxTech® Strap family. Instead of the closed edge, the UltraFlex Pro Straps have an open 3D Auxetic edge. This means that the strap can open and stretch when buckled. This creates a more even flex which is distributed more evenly over the shoe. In addition, Union have overmoulded the strap with a Hytrel® backbone, creating a supportive backbone. This overmolding process creates a dynamic strap that is equal parts hyper-reactive and soft.Progrip toe straps work with an innovative network of small hinges to provide unmatched support and a firm grip.

Recently upgraded to Rome Katana bindings, and the experience has been exceptional. The customizable features, including highback rotation, strap positioning, and canting options, provide a personalized fit for optimal performance.

Comfort is the right word to use with secure and pressure-point-free straps. The PivotMount Technology allows for easy adjustment of the ankle strap for enhanced comfort and control. Durability is also noteworthy, as the bindings hold up well in various conditions. While there's a slight learning curve to the customization features, the performance benefits outweigh the initial adjustment period.

This binding is a great binding for all kinds of riding.
The customization of rome bindings is the best in the industry, and this binding will satisfy most needs.
The DuraCush really dampens impacts, and vibrations disapates underneath which will keep your feet happy.
The ratchets are great, travel great, fair amout of tourqe, quick release does everything you need it to do.
It is a light-weight binding and in my case i dont really notice its there, the aux tech straps does a great job, gives no preassure points and im fairly certain that the toe strap will fit any boot!
