An all-mountain board could hardly be more adaptable. Powder or park, kicker or sidehits - the Mercury is famous for its versatility. The Hover Core™ provides stability and ollie power, while the Resort V2 profile offers maximum float and edge grip. With this board, you don't need to check the weather forecast - the Mercury can handle anything.
The Mercury is handmade in Austria in the first snowboard production facility powered by 100 % clean energy. It is a Good Wood Award and Platinum Picks winner.
Riding style
All-mountain freestyle for experienced and advanced riders - you want to have fun all over the mountain? This board can handle everything from sidehits at the edge of the piste to powder runs in the backcountry and fast carving turns.
Shape
With the directional shape, the nose is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder.
Profile
The Resort V2 profile combines a classic camber between the bindings with a rocker in tip and tail. The rocker increases uplift in powder. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission on hard slopes.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
Capita uses a blend of paulownia and poplar for the Hover Core™, which makes it ready for any terrain and any conditions. Amplitex V-Tech™ Amplifiers are strips of carbon and flax. These strips run from the inserts to the contact points, stiffening the nose and tail while dampening vibrations. The Holysheet™ triax-fibreglass gives you a better glass-to-weight ratio than regular fibreglass and is built into the Mercury with high-performance, plant-based Magic Bean™ resin for powerful and dynamic performance. The sintered Hyperdrive™ base is exceptionally fast, hard and absorbs a lot of wax for more durability and added speed.

Snowboardy a lyže jsou obvykle dodávány ve stavu „připravené k jízdě“ s nabroušenými hranami a navoskovanou skluznicí. Tato údržba z továrny však není příliš odolná, a proto byste si po pár dnech měli snowboard anebo lyže řádně navoskovat a pravidelně udržovat.

I am 30 years old, and I have been riding 2 years trying some different board and finding something that I can use for everything. I bought Capita Mercury looking for something that I could use in all type of terrain.
The moment I strap the bindings was like falling in love with the board. I have been riding it in almost all kind of terrains, powder, icy slopes, hard groomed. It just surprised me the good grip it has on every type of conditions. Carving feels really smooth, the board does not shake at high speeds, jumping in small - medium jumps feels like a normal twin full camber.
The board is something you can get as your all-around daily board, is a really good feeling to ride the board, I am looking forward to try it in deep powder, but I already know that it won't disappoint me at all. If you are looking for a perfect all around board, this is your board.

Die erste Version des Mercury war damals direkt eins meiner Lieblingsboards. Seitdem wurde es immer weiter upgegradet und die neueste Version setzt dem ganzen die Krone auf. Das 157er ist für mich mit 179cm Körpergröße perfekt um auf und abseits der Piste Vollgas zu geben. Es verlangt einem aber auch einiges ab, da es eher auf der härteren Flexseite ist.
Wer Kevin Backström und Arthur Longo kennt, weiß was sie mit diesem Board anstellen können. Arthur hat sogar sein Promodel auf diesem Modell basiert, was eigentlich schon alles sagt: schneller, höher, weiter! Die Base des Mercury ist mit das schnellste, was ich je unter den Füßen hatte, nur knapp vom Super DOA entfernt, und der Pop ist gewaltig! Durch den härteren Flex braucht man allerdings ziemlich gut trainierte Oberschenkel um diesen auch ausnutzen zu können. Das Board will hart gefahren werden und braucht auf jeden Fall viel Erfahrung und Können, um wirklich ausgenutzt zu werden. Dafür dankt es einem mit zuverlässigem Kantenhalt auch bei Höchstgeschwindigkeiten, gutem Float im Powder (vor allem weil es ja doch eigentlich ein Freestyleboard ist), und die Chance ist groß, dass ihr damit eure persönlichen Geschwindigkeitsrekorde pulverisiert. Wer sich an großen Jumps, Sidehits, Backcountry Kickern und co austoben will, ist mit dieser Maschine auf jeden Fall bestens bedient.
Nichts für Anfänger! Aber fortgeschrittene Rider, die Power haben und brauchen, werden das Brett auf jeden Fall zu schätzen wissen.
