Built for high-output comfort and motion, Patagonia's lightweight, backcountry-ready SnowDrifter Bibs combine the uphill performance of a stretch fabric with serious storm protection to keep you dry and comfortable wherever you go in your powder pursuit. The H2No™ Performance Standard shell fabric is made of a limber 3-layer, 70% recycled stretch polyester ripstop that allows the full range of motion and blocks wind, moisture and hard use. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish prevents saturation and increases abrasion resistance. A moisture-managing liner of soft polyester knit increases comfort and provides a smooth glide when layering. The upper part of the bib is made with a lightweight double weave fabric (63% recycled) with four-way stretch that breathes easily, moves moisture and pairs nicely with other layers.

The low-profile, full-coverage design includes drop-seat adjustability, removable suspenders (they detach in front for quick and easy entry) and two-way side zips for venting and easy relief. Other details include articulated patterning through the hips and knees for full mobility, tough scuff guards for durability and low-bulk gaiters that provide a tight seal on boots. Designed with three pockets to keep you organized (two thigh cargo and one zippered chest pocket) and an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector.

Väldigt bra

I like to ski. I especially like to ski powder. To do that I have been chasing storms in the Alps for the last 10 years. To get to the best snow you are sometimes forced to hike or tour. Therefore when searching for new gear I try to find the equipment that is good for resort skiing and long days touring. The Patagonia snowdrifter pants seemed to tick all the boxes.

I tested the pants in the Last few snow filed days, those included 2 very sunny days and one day on snowing. The pants offer a great fit for me, as they are not too baggy but still offer a relaxed fit. They are also very stretchy. As a 3L shell construction, they don't restrict movement at all and the outer zippered vent offers great ventilation. To conserve weight the vents have no mesh.

The pants are great for touring and resort days. They have great edge protection on the inseam which is very important for skiers. They are extremely light and even though they only have 3 pockets those are very big. The pants are only a shell so they might be a bit thin for resort days on very cold days.

Nachdem ich auf der Suche nach einer Skihose war die im Backcountry funktioniert viel meine Wahl auf die PATAGONIA SNOWDRIFTER. Die Firma Patagonia hat mich durch Qualität und Ideologie überzeugt. Ich verwende die Hose hauptsächlich zum Touren gehen, aber auch im Resort.

Nachdem ich die PATAGONIA SNOWDRIFTER nun bei einigen Touren zum Einsatz gekommen ist, weiß ich, dass mich dieses Produkt noch einige Winter begleiten wird. Dank der guten Passform und dem Latz ist man auch im tiefen Schnee gut geschützt. Auch eine Eigenschaft, auf die ich beim Touren gehen, extrem wert lege: Bewegungsfreiheit. Dank dem elastischen Material und guter Belüftung ist die Hose auch bei langen Touren nicht unangenehm.

Ich bin mit dem Produkt extrem zufrieden. Die Qualität der PATAGONIA SNOWDRIFTER hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Eine wirklich gute Kombination für jeden, der eine Skihose zum Touren gehen und für das Backcountry sucht.

Ich wollte eine Hose haben, in der mir sowohl an normalen Skitagen immer warm ist, die mir aber auch für Skitouren die nötige Atmungsaktivität bietet. Deshalb habe ich mich für die ungefütterte Patagonia Snwodrifter entschieden. So kann ich anhand der unteren Schichten die Isolierung an Wetter und Aktivität anpassen.

Als absoluter Fan von Bib-Pants kam nur dieser Schnitt für mich in Frage. Durch den hohen Bund ist der Oberkörper immer vor Schnee und Wind geschützt. Damit sich jedoch an Bauch und Rücken keine Hitze staut hat Patagonia ein dünnes Stretch Material eingenäht. Außerdem befindet sich am Latz eine zusätzliche kleine Tasche, dich immer für mein Handy verwende. So ist es nicht im Weg und der Akku leidet nicht in der Kälte, wie bei anderen Taschen. Es passt einfach alles genau auf meine Anforderungen. Das An- und Ausziehen ist auch kein Problem durch die beiden Reißverschlüsse an der Seite, die gleichzeitig auch als Lüftung fungieren. Außerdem Praktisch: Für das kleine Geschäft zwischendurch Hilft den Herren außerdem noch der kleine Reißverschluss vorne ;)

Eine super Hose für alle die rundum gut eingepackt sein möchten und nicht auf Atmungsaktivität oder Bewegungsfreiheit verzichten wollen.
