Amplid Superplayer 102 177
The Amplid Superplayer is perfect for freeskiers who want to shred the whole mountain - with a focus on high speeds, jumps and kickers
At 102mm underfoot, the Superplayer is the skinniest member of Amplid’s Player Series, delivering the perfect 50/50 compromise between on and off-piste performance. The Superplayer compromises a little deep snow floatation for gains in grip and responsiveness. Its lengthened underfoot camber and smaller rocker zone create the perfect platform for fast carving turns and launching massive airs.
Riding Style
All-mountain freestyle/park ski for intermediate to advanced level skiers. The wider twin tip shape makes this ski perfect for every terrain. From the park, groomers to the backcountry, you can ride this ski anywhere.
Shape
A Tapered Directional ski is the best for all-mountain riding. The nose is a bit wider than the tail, giving you plenty of control in any terrain. The stance is set back towards the tail, increasing the length of the nose. This helps you to float above the pow.
Profile
The CamRock profile features a classic camber under the binding with an even rocker in tip and tail and is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and groomers, good float in powder.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively ski that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The Jekyll and Hyde geometry maximises the effective edge and square centimetres at a minimum ski length. Resulting in unsinkable but nimble powder skis and jib skis with a huge pop. The Omni Core is a dependable, low -density poplar wood core which is lightweight, durable and has great flex. The Carbon Pop Band is a narrow band of carbon running through the centreline of the ski to increase longitudinal stiffness and pop. The Sintered 7 base is made of a premium sintered plastic which readily absorbs wax and is super fast. The V-shaped Basalt Suspension Strips in nose and tail, dampen unwanted vibrations for improved control.
