A machine like the Team Pro, only even better in powder: the Alternator
Jared Elston, Griffin Siebert and Tommy Delago designed the Alternator to give you a backcountry snowboard with a difference. It comes with a slightly harder flex and full-length camber, so you can optimally master approaches and landings of powder kickers. In addition, the sintered base offers the best speed from the deepest winter to slushy spring sessions. Get it and enjoy the new powderhouse in backcountry freestyle.
Riding style
The Alternator is designed for all riders who bring freestyle to the backcountry. Powder kickers, pillow lines, powder butters and cliffs are top of the list here.
Shape
A directional shape is the classic, most versatile snowboard shape. Optimal to ride with a slightly longer nose than tail. The pop is concentrated in the tail and provides plenty of float and control in all terrain and conditions.
Profile
The traditional Trüe Camber profile consists of only one positive camber from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop. However, camber boards tend to catch edge more easily than other profiles.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The Powerlite Core is made of lightweight, specially selected poplar wood for massive pop and unmatched stability at low weight. The Reflex Core Profile is a thinner board profile between the bindings. It improves torsional flex and allows you to turn your board easier. Diamond Band are balanced layers of carbon for more snap and a lively ride for a smooth yet powerful experience. The Sintered Speed Formula ll Base is exclusive to Nitro's high-end boards. A Nanotech wax formula is infused deep into the molecular mass of the sintered lining material, making it lightning fast and extremely durable.

Snowboards komen met een gewaxte base en geslepen kanten uit de fabriek. Je kunt er meteen mee boarden. Dit noemen we een "factory tuning". Deze tuning gaat niet heel lang mee en nieuwe snowboards moeten na een paar dagen weer goed gewaxt worden. Denk er aan om je board regelmatig te onderhouden.
