Short and wide for maximum fun all over the mountain
Shred your favourite powder runs like a dream with the T-Rice Orca. A tight 7-metre radius combined with a short, wide shape allows you to lay down the deepest Euro carves without touching the piste with your toes. The long nose and the "whale tail" offer plenty of room for creativity, whether in the backcountry or on the piste.
Travis Rice and Mervin will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each orca snowboard to Orca Conservancy (www.orcaconservancy.org) in support of their efforts to prevent the extinction of southern killer whales in the Salish Sea.
Riding style
This board is perfect for advanced riders always searching for pristine powder slopes and deep carving turns.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer and wider than the tail for the best float in powder. The bindings' setback provides additional support. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. They unfold their full potential, especially on icy slopes.
Profile
The C2X profile features a short rocker between the bindings and a large camber underneath the bindings. This combination offers a good edge hold due to the camber areas, enhances uplift, and allows for unlimited freestyle action without the risk of catching an edge, thanks to the rocker.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The 'Horsepower Construction' (HP) is even lighter than the 'Original Power Construction' (OP), more environmentally friendly due to organic beans and basalt fibres, and offers an exceptionally smooth ride. The aspen and paulownia wood core is robust and provides ample pop. The topsheet is crafted from organic sublimated beans, while the sintered base is exceptionally fast but requires careful maintenance.

Snowboards komen met een gewaxte base en geslepen kanten uit de fabriek. Je kunt er meteen mee boarden. Dit noemen we een "factory tuning". Deze tuning gaat niet heel lang mee en nieuwe snowboards moeten na een paar dagen weer goed gewaxt worden. Denk er aan om je board regelmatig te onderhouden.
