Since its launch, the Defenders of Awesome has won a Transworld Good Wood Award every year until 2019. Truly unbeaten, the DOA is one of the best all-mountain freestyle boards around. Its hybrid camber profile combines the pop and precision of a classic camber board with the compliance of a rocker board. Updated tech features such as the P2 Superlight Core™ and the new Hybrid Holysheet™ with carbon ensure balanced handling in any terrain.
The Defenders of Awesome is handmade in Austria in the first snowboard production facility powered by 100 % clean energy. It is a 7-time Good Wood Award winner.
Riding style
This board is just right for experienced all-mountain junkies. The DOA offers a reactive ride with plenty of flexibility for piste, park and backcountry.
Shape
The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride, ensuring that it's equally versatile when ridden forward or switch.
Profile
The Resort V1 profile comes with a traditional camber between the bindings and is flat outside the bindings, with a subtle rocker in the nose and tail. This profile gives you a stable ride but is still more playful and forgiving than a classic camber profile.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of this board. It's hard enough for powerful turns but flexible enough for a playful ride.
Construction
The FSC®-certified P2 Superlight Core™ is lightweight and versatile, with high impact resistance and maximum pop. Two carbon strips along the wood core increase performance and response. Harder, stronger, faster: the sintered Quantum Drive™ base creates a unique balance of speed and stability. The DOA uses a Hybrid Holysheet™ Bi/Bi Carbon Fibreglass for less weight. It was installed in the DOA with high-performance, plant-based Magic Bean™ resin for powerful and dynamic driving behaviour.

Snowboards komen met een gewaxte base en geslepen kanten uit de fabriek. Je kunt er meteen mee boarden. Dit noemen we een "factory tuning". Deze tuning gaat niet heel lang mee en nieuwe snowboards moeten na een paar dagen weer goed gewaxt worden. Denk er aan om je board regelmatig te onderhouden.
