The classic design of the legendary Vans Authentic sneakers hasn't changed much from 1966 to today: simple canvas low top with single lacing and the original Vans Waffle Sole®. The latter is also the reason why it has always been so popular among skaters. The durable rubber sole in a special Waffle pattern offers the best grip and is thus ideal for skateboarding.
