Description du produit
Serious backcountry tool for smaller, younger riders
Practice makes perfect. It's the same with splitboarding. Why not start early? What could be better than enjoying the beauty and peace of nature with your parents (or friends, of course) and then rewarding yourself with a powder run? That's why the Jones Solution all-terrain splitboard is also available for youngsters. The Jones Solution Youth comes with sophisticated features and ensures backcountry fun for young shredders.
Riding Style
Young shredders have the chance to experience the backcountry with the Solution Youth. The versatile all-terrain splitboard offers the ideal introduction to the world of splitboarding.
Shape
The Solution features a directional shape that allows for high speeds with ease and offers you good floatation. Taper means a narrower tail than nose, which offers more floatation in powder. In deep snow you enjoy the Blunt Nose. It carries less snow backward over the sides of the nose. This allows for enjoying all the benefits of a traditional nose and also saves weight. Traction Tech 3.0, a serrated edge, provides the best edge hold in all conditions and excels on hardpack and icy terrain.
Profile
The Directional Rocker consists of a camber between the bindings and a larger rocker at the nose than at the tail. This keeps the board extremely maneuverable in pow and gives it extra float. The camber offers good edge hold and fast power transmission. The slightly rockered tail also increases power transmission and stability. The freeride-focused 3D Base Contour 1.0 comes with a balanced turn-up of 2mm in nose and tail. The bending up of the base starts at the rocker.
Flex
The Solution's medium flex (5/10) gives you the perfect balance of playfulness and stability.
Construction
The FSC™ Classic Core is an all-wood premium poplar core, with pop, even flex and solid durability. The Biax fibreglass provides a playful and snappy ride. The ECO plastic topsheet is made from castor seeds. This biomaterial is extremely lightweight, resistant to scratches and breaks, and water and snow repellent. Super Sap Bio Resin is plant-based, making production a little more environmentally friendly. The sintered 8000 base is easy and quick to repair. The Quick Tension Tail offers a built-in system for mounting the climbing skins, the notches on the tail mean you no longer need tail clips to attach the skins.
Karakoram Clips
The Solution Youth comes with Karakoram Clips. Stainless steel reinforcements are embedded in the nose and tail for better tip resistance.
