Description du produit
Whether park laps or pow runs - with the Capita Mercury you always have the right board under your feet
An all-mountain board could hardly be more versatile. Whether it's powder, park, kicker or sidehits, the Mercury is renowned for its adaptability. The innovative Hover Core™ ensures both stability and ollie power, while the Resort V2 profile delivers maximum float and edge grip. With this board, you needn't check the weather forecast – the Mercury can tackle anything.
The Mercury is handmade in Austria in the first snowboard production facility powered by 100 % clean energy. It is a Good Wood Award and Platinum Picks winner.
Riding style
All-mountain freestyle is for experienced and advanced riders. Do you want to have fun all over the mountain? This board can manage everything from sidehits at the edge of the piste to powder runs in the backcountry and fast carving turns.
Shape
The directional shape makes the nose slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back, which increases stability at higher speeds and uplift in powder.
Profile
The Resort V2 profile fuses a classic camber between the bindings with a rocker at the tip and tail. The rocker enhances flotation in powder, while the camber provides excellent edge grip and rapid power transmission on firm slopes.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
Capita utilises a blend of paulownia and poplar for the Hover Core™. This prepares you for any terrain and conditions. Carbonflax™ amplifiers are strips composed of carbon and flax. These strips extend from the inserts to the contact points, reinforcing the nose and tail while dampening vibrations. The Holysheet™ triax-fibreglass provides a superior glass-to-weight ratio compared to standard fibreglass and is integrated into the Mercury with high-performance, plant-based Magic Bean™ resin for powerful and dynamic outcomes. The sintered Hyperdrive™ base is exceptionally fast and durable, absorbing significant wax for enhanced longevity and speed.
