The Nitro Ripper X Volcom has been designed to help young snowboarders learn their first turns and ease their entry into the world of snowboarding. The Flat-Out Rocker profile offers a forgiving feel for easy fun every turn. Whether it's carving, jumping or off-piste, everything works with this set. This real twin-tip board is just right for youngsters who want to shred like the older kids.
Riding style
An easy to ride, forgiving all-mountain board for beginners. You can easily shred it all over the mountain. On the piste, in powder or for your first tricks in the park, everything is possible.
Shape
The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden forward or switch.
Profile
The Flat-Out Rocker profile comes with a flat preload between the bindings and an even rocker in the nose and tail. This makes the board turn very easily, but it remains smooth at higher speeds. Catching edge is virtually impossible
Flex
The soft flex (1/10) makes the board very flexible, perfect for butter tricks and tweaks. Additionally, softer boards offer a fun ride and a comfortable ride through any terrain.
Construction
The Powercore is a lightweight, stable poplar wood core and offers the perfect mix of flex and response. Bi-Lite fibreglass is engineered for unmatched strength, style and enhanced board feel. Fast, durable and easy to maintain, the Premium Extruded FH Base is ideal for riders who prefer to spend their time on the mountain rather than caring for their boards.
