    Product description

The new Klassy freeride approach to the mountain

With a big smile on her face, Kaitlyn worked tirelessly with Gnu's builders to create a snowboard tailored to hard carving, pow and freeride daydreams. Her dreams have come true with the Klassy's directional shape, designed with deep days in mind, and C2x contour ensuring snappy freestyle fun.

    Riding style
The Klassy is made for intermediate and advanced riders who want a playful freeride board that allows you to perform at the highest level. This board offers high performance in the backcountry up to the big mountain lines.

    Shape
The Klassy has a directional shape that is stable at high speeds and floaty. In deep snow, the slightly longer nose and the short tail helps you to maintain a natural stance without sinking at lower speeds. So you don't have to lean on your tail all the time to stay afloat. Take advantage of the Magne-Traction edges to effortlessly link turns that look and feel nice whether they are at high speeds or slow and controlled. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder.

    Profile
C2x means rocker between your feet combined with camber out to tip and tail. Kills everything! Aggressive perfection in turning, jibbing and unreal float in pow combined with a tip to tail control, power, and the pop of a camber.

    Flex
The medium flex of the Klassy makes it suited for all kinds of freeriding. High-speed powder runs, long nose butters or spin your body in weird ways and execute unreal moves.

    Construction
The Co-Extruded Base is hard, fast and virtually maintenance free. A base designed by Gnu that loves a good wax but still slides great even when you forget to. The core consists of strong Aspen wood on and a string of Paulownia, giving you a strong and light core with a crisp pop. Bi-ax and Tri-ax fibreglass surrounds the wood core and adds the needed stiffness and durability. The Ultra High Molecular Weight UHMW sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls. Furthermore, the Eco Sublimated Bio Beans Topsheet is tough and environmentally friendly.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Gnu

Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job.
