Product description
Temple Cummins choice for extreme backcountry and freeride performance
Four-time Mt. Baker Banked Slalom champion, legendary train jumper, and Mt. Weird Billy Goat freeride line master Temple Cummins is a committed snowboarder. Working closely with the Gnu design crew, Temple knows what it takes to build a snowboard you can count on when you get yourself in a little wilder than you planned. Designed to perform at the highest level, the Billygoat is an unreal skate influenced daily driver that excels in the best and worst conditions.
Riding style
For boarders that want an aggressive, responsive and precise snowboard for high-speed powder riding and advanced freestyle moves.
Shape
This directional twin will provide you with some extra float in the deep fluffy stuff while still providing excellent switch riding capabilities. Due to the setback of the bindings towards the tail, the nose gets a little bit longer, while the shape of nose and tail is still symmetric. Take advantage of the Magne-Traction edges to effortlessly link turns that look and feel nice whether they are at high speeds or slow and controlled. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder.
Profile
The C3 performance hybrid camber profile features a mild rocker between the feet while the rest of the board is profiled like a standard camber. This profile offers an aggressive ride that provides a lot of control and response in every terrain. The mild rocker will give the board just a little bit more playfulness and float than standard camber profiles, while not compromising the positive properties of camber. Some benefits for the advanced riders are precise edge control, maximum stability for high jumps and landings and fast lines.
Flex
The stiff flex is perfect for going extremely fast and hitting expert level freestyle features. The stiffness will provide you with loads of response and precise control that allow those micro adjustments that you need while blazing towards a kicker or hip at jet fighter speeds.
Construction
The Sintered Base is compression hardened amorphous UHMW skived from the billet to create the toughest, fastest, best wax holding base material around. Slides best and fastest when waxed regularly to match local snow conditions. The core consists of a strong Aspen spine with Columbian Gold on either side for a crisp pop and Paulownia on the toe and heel edges for Gnu's smoothest riding core with reduced weight, enhanced strength and pop. Bi-ax and Tri-ax fibreglass surrounds the Woodcore and adds the needed stiffness and durability. The Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls. Finally, the Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet features a tough and eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
