The performance-oriented Atlas is extremely durable, packed with the best features and easily handles any snowboarding style. It comes with Union's strongest baseplate, combined with a stiff Duraflex CB highback and reactive ankle straps.

Highback
The Atlas Duraflex CB Highback is stiff, lightweight and comes with a clean design for a seamless connection between boot and binding. The asymmetrical design gives you enough lateral freedom for tweaks, while the binding still responds perfectly. The angle of the highback (forward lean) can be adjusted without tools.

Baseplate
The Stage 7 Atlas Baseplate is the most stable base from Union. Extremely responsive Duraflex CB nylon is the key ingredient in this indestructible design. High-Density Vaporlite cushioning is stiffer and more responsive than Union's traditional Vaporlite, but with the same cushioning characteristics. The footbed has a special Non-Stick™ coating. This prevents ice from forming on the footbed and highback.

Straps
The ExoFrame 3.0 ankle straps are the ultimate connection between boot and binding. The progressive flex allows for quick response and power transfer for demanding riding at high speeds. The thermoplastic anti-slip material of the wide TS-2.0 toe straps keep your boots bombproof and secure in the binding. The Magnesium 3.0 buckles are made of magnesium and aluminum. A good combination of light weight and stability.
