The Rome Royal is ideal for freestyle-oriented riding in any terrain. The Contact Rocker profile offers stable performance for all-mountain/backcountry riding and a playful feel in the park. If you're a beginner or even an advanced rider looking to have fun all over the mountain, the Rome Royal is a very good choice.

Riding style
You can't get more all-mountain than that. The Royal provides playful fun in the park, enough edge hold on the piste and lift in powder. Your self-confidence will grow with every run. 

Shape
The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden forward or switch.

Profile
The Contact Rocker profile comes with a flat preload between the bindings and a rocker in the nose and tail. This makes the board turn very easily, but it remains smooth at higher speeds.

Flex
The medium flex provides precise control but retains its playfulness.

Construction
The Stomp Core is made from 100 % poplar wood, making it the most stable core in the Rome family. The Impact Base is easy to repair, with good wax absorption. A low-maintenance base for every rider level. HotRods are thin tubes made of carbon, bamboo or fibreglass and are embedded in milled channels in the wooden core of the board. The flex and pop can thus be precisely placed and changed. In the case of the Royal, bamboo HotRods were used to guarantee you a playful ride.
