Riding style
This splitboard is designed to shred the mountain in the most playful way possible, without sacrificing high-speed, line-bombing stability.

Shape
This Directional Shape will provide you with some extra float in the white room. In deep snow, the Blunt Nose makes sure that less snow comes over the sides of your nose, as that would obviously slow you down. This also means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight. Edges like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech 2.0 improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board. At the far ends of the Progressive Sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

Profile
Directional Rocker- A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves manoeuvrability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.

Construction
The full wood premium poplar FSC™ Classic Core offers fun pop, even flex and solid durability. A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched Biax Fibreglass laminate provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride. All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum-based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are coproducts or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Super Sap requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than conventional epoxy. The Sintered 7000 Base is made out of durable natural base material with added carbon for speed and good wax absorbency. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is a bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to the topsheet). All Jones boards are made with Oversized Recycled Steel Edges for added durability and improved production sustainability. Stainless Steel Reinforcements are embedded into the nose and tail of this board for improved board tip strength. New Rounded, Recycled Sidewall finish that improves board durability by protecting topsheet from chipping. Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with Wend natural wax. By flip flopping the base graphic colour, P-Tex waste is drastically reduced by increasing the material yield.

Karakoram Clips
Jones' splitboards feature Karakoram K-Clips plus tip and tail hooks. Adjustable tension K-clips increase the board's torsional stiffness.

Quick Tension Tail
The Quick Tension Tail is a built-in climbing skin tension system that uses a pre-cut notch which eliminates the need for a traditional skin tail clip.
