Out-of-the-box comfort plus the ease of BOA closure, combined with a soft, lightweight profile makes the Scout an incredible all-mountain boot. The Scout will feel great on your feet right from the start. You know, the time that an average boot needs before it fits? Due to its quick Boa-System and the nice flex you can skip that and have instant fun.

Outer Boot
The Foundation outsole is DC’s lightest-weight outsole. It is made entirely from a Unilite material which provides great durability, dampening, and cushioning. In addition, this outsole has an anti-slip tread pattern for good grip on all snow conditions. 

Liner
The Red liner offers pure performance in a lower cost package. It features a multilayer construction with EVA memory foam and thermal regulating fleece. This provides unquestionable fit and comfort, plus the proven support and hold of a classic lace closure. The snow basic insole features die-cut EVA for comfort and cushioning while an outer layer of moisture-wicking fabric feels like a climate control system around your feet.

Lacing System
The BOA H3 coiler platform is unbeatable, it is fast, super strong and offers micro-adjustability for dialling in the perfect balance between flex and support. This system allows you to tighten the upper and lower zone with a coiler spool. This results in a secure and consistent fit throughout the boot with a greater hold in the heel pocket.
