Aritz Aranburu is one of the greatest Spanish surfing idols, being the first and only Basque and Spanish surfer to be included in the top 45 surfers in the world (WCT 2007). YOW designed Aritz's signature surfskate entirely according to his wishes and ideas. The YOW surfskates are ideal when it comes to realistically transferring the unique feeling of surfing to the street.

Riding style
The movement on the YOW board is so similar to that on a surfboard that it acts as a surf trainer, as you directly learn the posture and weight shift required for surfing. The short wheelbase of the pro model from Aritz is particularly suitable for radical turns and is extremely agile. 

The YOW System
The latest generation YOW Meraki S5 Surfskate system is significantly lighter than its predecessor. The wide turn-in of the front truck enables tight turns, but is slightly less manoeuvrable than the S4 system thanks to the 5 mm spring. It was designed for riders over 50 kg body weight and for anyone who prefers a more stable ride.

Setup
The components are perfectly matched to the board. The soft wheels provide the best grip and speed, even on rough surfaces. The deck comes in a proven maple wood construction.
