The soft-medium flex of the spade is ideal for beginner and intermediate riders, because it provides a forgiving and playful feel.

Construction
While waiting in the lift line or pushing on one foot the Grip-Lacquer between the bindings promises perfect hold, like a stomp pad. On hard slopes and at higher speed the V-Flex fiberglass weave unfolds its full potential, providing excellent power transmission to the edges

Straptec Initial Binding: The 2-Strap classic
The Straptec Initial is ideal for those not yet accustomed to the Fastec System. These classic two strap bindings are equipped with a high-end plastic, medium flex FT4 baseplate, which delivers smooth riding in all terrains. The Highback-Pad and EVA dampening in the footbed guarantee excellent comfort on bumpy slopes. The adjustable straps of the Straptec Initial fit to all boot sizes, while tool-free adjustment makes fine-tuning of forward lean easy. In short it is an all-round two strap binding, equipped with everything you’d expect.
