Automatic comfort – no special boots required

With the XA Supermatic®, Salomon introduces an automatic step-in binding designed for riders who want quick handling and maximum comfort without sacrificing the feel of traditional straps. The smart mechanism combines a reclining highback with a heel pedal that locks you in securely after three clicks. To exit, simply press the side release lever. The system works with any boot and on any board and can also be used in classic strap mode.

Highback
The highback reclines automatically as you step in. As soon as your boot hits the pedal, the system activates and locks you in with three solid clicks. The side release lever ensures a fast and easy exit – even with gloves on. A 12° pre-rotated shape and the integrated HB Filter provide you with precise control and reduced vibration.

Baseplate
The OG Supermatic® baseplate is made from 30 % fibreglass-reinforced nylon composite, delivering durability, response, and smooth flex. The canted footbed supports your natural stance, while the XA Supermatic® pad adds impact absorption. 

Straps
The Hybrid Ankle-Toe Strap combines heel and toe support in one secure system. Use it the classic way or leave it perfectly set for automatic mode. MicroMax strap adjustments and tool-free setup make fitting fast and easy. The LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock buckles ensure quick and reliable closure with minimal effort.
