The Out Of Wipeout helmet features a traditional ABS construction. This construction with an inner part of expanded polystyrene increases the weight, compared to co-injected helmets. A certain weight also means that the helmet is more durable and it doesn't need much care during the use or transport.
Construction
At the ABS construction, the foam layer on the inside of the helmet is kept separate from the hard outer shell. This creates a very thick impact-resistant outer layer.
