While some bindings are made rigid and stiff for the sake of performance, the Burton Genesis X binding achieves pro-caliber control without sacrificing an ounce of comfort. Built for aggressive all-mountain riders, it features a hyper-reactive carbon-injected baseplate, responsive Hammockstraps, and full coverage cushioning underfoot.

Highback
The ergonomic Canted Hi-Back follows the natural contours of your left and right legs to maximise control and comfort. Riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel will dig the Zero Forward Lean on select highbacks. As always, you can still choose to crank ‘em forward for quicker control when carving or climbing icy pipe walls. For mind-blowing micro-adjustability, the MicroFLAD® system gives you twice the options of the traditional FLAD.

Baseplate
Re:Flex® offers more flex and board feel than traditional disc bindings. The minimised, cored baseplate reduces weight and expands the cushioning potential. The lightweight and durable 28 % Carbon Fiber/Nylon composite throughout the baseplate creates a consistent response and feel for all-terrain domination. The Re:Flex FullBED Cushioning system offers a full coverage, cushioned platform that maximises comfort while minimising fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate, its stealth trap door design makes it easy to access the mounting hardware.
  
Straps
The Hammockstrap® is the absolute favourite of the Burton team, light, comfortable and still flexible at low temperatures. The minimalist design of the Supergrip Capstrap® 2.0 merges two materials into one technologically advanced toe strap. A firmer material in the spine provides a supportive and lightweight skeleton, while a softer over-moulded material improves boot wrap and comfort. Be the first to drop in with the rapid ratcheting of Burton’s Double Take Buckles. Helical teeth and “Insta-Click” engagement combine for increased torque per crank, faster uptake, and fewer cranks to tightness. The result: vastly improved strength, speed, and ease-of-use.
