The perfect size backpack for freeriding + lightweight ABS carbon cartridge

ABS were the first ones to establish airbag backpacks. But that doesn't mean they rest on their laurels. A few years ago, ABS launched the P.RIDE system, the first partner system on the market.

With P.RIDE you can activate your own airbag, your buddy’s airbag when he or she is riding on a section individually, or you can activate the airbag of your entire group. Group members are synchronized automatically when they simultaneously open their activation handles

The P.RIDE Compact base unit features the ABS P.RIDE System and the ABS® exclusive TwinBag technology with two independent airbags.

The P.RIDE Compact base unit is suitable for people between 1.60m and 1.85m and is compatible with p.RIDE compact Zip-Ons and s.LIGHT compact Zip-Ons.

This set includes the P.RIDE Compact base unit and the Compact 18 Zip-On. 18 litre storage space is perfect for freeride days in the backcountry. The Zip-On offers enough space for safety equipment, drinks and snacks, as well as some extra clothes.

The ABS P.RIDE Inflator is an ultra-light carbon cartridge for maximum weight reduction for your ABS P.RIDE Base Unit.

Hi, ich bin Nico und stehe seit über 10 Jahren auf dem Snowboard.
Man findet mich hauptsächlich im Park und wenn es die Conditions zulassen, auch mal im Backcountry. Ich selbst bin 172 cm groß. Ich war auf der Suche nach einem ABS Rucksack, der nicht zu groß ist, aber trotzdem etwas Platz für Kleinigkeiten bietet. In meiner Tätigkeit als Filmer bin ich es gewohnt große und schwere Rucksäcke zu tragen, somit kam mir diese kleine und leichte Version für meine eigenen spaßigen Runs genau richtig.

Ich hab den Rucksack bei dem ein oder anderen Backcountry run ausprobiert und er sitzt wirklich super bequem und schränkt mich beim Fahren gar nicht ein. Der Rucksack verfügt über eine Brust und eine Bauchlasche, welche für einen bombenfesten Sitz sorgen. Auslösen musste ich den Airbag (zum Glück) bis jetzt noch nicht. Der Innenraum bietet genug Platz für eine Kleinigkeit zum Essen, Trinken, eine GoPro, eine zweite Google.

Wenn du auf der Suche nach einem kleinen und leichten ABS Rucksack bist, dann wirst du mit dem ABS P.Ride Bu Compact 18L sicher fündig.
