Vans Ave Pro Reflective Skate Shoes
At Vans Pro Skate, safety is a primary concern. When Vans pro Kyle Walker was nearly killed by an SUV while filming his now-famous breakout part in Vans Propeller skate video, the Vans design crew created a reflective pack for Kyle and the rest of their team to increase their visibility in low-light situations. Featuring a reflective ink technique and hi-vis strips, the AVE Pro also includes DURACAP and RapidWeld no-sew technology combined with our LuxLiner inner linings for the optimum fit and durability, and their new UltimateWaffle construction. Finally, it includes suede, textile, and synthetic uppers, and Vans Original Waffle Compound outsoles for superior board control. Vans doesn´t recommend wearing any items from this pack if running from the cops.
- DURACAP™: The additional Duracap rubber reinforcements in particularly stressed areas were designed for the demanding conditions of the Vans Pro Skate Team. And thanks to their durability, all other skateboarders save time and money.
- LUXLINER: Vans' Luxliner construction integrates the tongue into the lining for a comfortable, breathable and responsive fit.
- RAPIDWELD™: The advanced bonded shoe sheet eliminates the need for traditional seams. Instead, the seamless process inserts a thin layer between the panels to bond them together under the influence of heat. The Rapidweld construction is exceptionally strong, making it more durable, flexible and lightweight than conventional stitching.
- VANS ORIGINAL WAFFLE OUTSOLE: As early as 1966, Paul Van Doren designed the soles of his first sneakers to be twice as thick so they would last longer. Unlike other shoemakers, he used pure crepe rubber without fillers.
