High-performance backcountry freestyle snowboard 

The Slash Brainstorm is designed to help you shred any line you can dream up in the backcountry.
The Directional Twin shape is designed for freestyle backcountry riding, it can also be landed switch very well, but itcomes with a setback for more float. The Camrock profile increases buoyancy, while carbon, Kevlar and basalt stringers make the board reactive and precise.

Riding style
Freestyle all over the mountain, but especially in the deep backcountry are the Brainstorm's top priority. 

Shape
The Directional Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical, giving you the same forward and switch feel. However, the inserts have been moved back a bit to give you more float in powder.

Profile
The Backseat CamRock design has a pronounced rocker in the nose and a slight rocker in the tail. In between is a reactive camber. This design offers stability and control, with the added lift and manoeuvrability of the rockered nose.

Flex
The medium flex keeps the snowboard playful, but still offers enough response to function at high speeds and hard landings, without compromise. 

Construction
The lightweight Forever Woodcore is constructed from four different lightweight wood species to make a premium core. Paulownia, spruce, beech and poplar provide a responsive and dynamic ride. 
Triax fibreglass is the proven classic. It has a three-way weave of premium fibres with strands that run at a 45-degree angle. It offers superior pop, consistent torsional flex and a faster response.
The sintered base is an industry standard for high-quality bases. It offers a good balance between the speed achieved by a hard base and good wax absorbance. Landing strips made of Kevlar and carbon from the insert to the tip or tail help you with landings, give you control at high speeds and have a cushioning effect.
