What happens when freeride legend Jeremy Jones collaborates with surf shaper Chris Christenson? You’ll get a snowboard to surf pow lines and a fun machine for the whole mountain. Exactly that’s the Women's Mind Expander. The board is fun in every terrain and gives you a surf feeling you never knew before when snowboarding.

Riding Style
The Mind Expander brings snowboard meets surf to a new level. The playful all mountain board is fun on any terrain!

Shape
The sidecut and flex, as well as the inserts of the Hybrid Directional Shape, are moved to the back. Combined with the Spoon 3.0 Base, a freeride focused 3D-base contour featuring an even balance of 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail, floatation is guaranteed.

Profile
Custom tip/tail rocker profile designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson for the Mind Expander. The nose rocker starts just inside of the front inserts and the tail rocker starts just at the back inserts. When you weight the tail of the board the nose ramps up out of the snow for insane float on the deepest days. These subtle rocker contours match a Christenson surfboard rocker profile.

Flex
A medium flex (6/10) will ensure precise response, yet with enough flex to butter and jib.

Construction
The heart of the Mind Expander is a re-designed triple density Bamboo Surf Core that features primarily paulownia stringers with bamboo stringers positioned in the pocket of the sidecut for better edge response and turn power. The Web Fused Carbon is a new carbon stringer pack that blends different widths of carbon matched to the specific needs of the board model. Featured on the surf collection models to eliminate nose vibration. A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fibreglass laminate provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride. The Bio-plastic topsheet is made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to topsheet). The Sintered 9900 Base, made of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon is easy to repair thanks to the UHMW-PE. All Jones Snowboards are factory tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
