Launch yourself on a Magic Carpet ride!

This Magic Carpet was first introduced as a prototype of Whitegold Snowboards and last season got further developed and finetuned by Bataleon. The result was a new idea of the Triple Base, the Twin Pow 3BT: a symmetrical true twin board with a maxed out 3BT at both ends to maximize the surface area. This allows you to size down and ride a shorter board in powder without giving up float.

Riding Style
The Magic Carpet is a fun machine in powder. For those who don't just ride down straight. Manoeuvrability and playfulness come along stability and float. But this powder gun also kicks ass in the park!

Shape
The unique Twin Pow 3BT shape is like a true twin just with shorter triple base sections. You can mount your bindings centered or set-back, depending on whether you sometimes happen to ride switch in powder or you just wanna cruise. The new SideKick Tips increase the edge uplift on the widest points of nose and tail for easier turn initiation, more float and better handling in rough terrain.

Profile
Twin Pow 3BT has a narrow centerbase like on the Freeride 3BTs, but with a high edge uplift outside the binding areas. This creates a larger surface area that allows you to ride a wider and downsized Magic Carpet. Float in all directions and a fully loaded low camber!

Flex
The Magic Carpet has a medium flex what keeps it very agile in powder. The vertical carbon stringers provide the necessary stability and create pop.

Construction
A poplar and paulownia wood core is additionally reinforced with light and strong tri-axial fiberglass. This means massive pop and stability. Between the inserts and tip/tail vertical carbon stringers are inserted. This keeps the board fexible between the bindings and powerful towards the ends. The sintered Hyper Glide S base is hard and fast, but wax it good!
