Shape
The Freeride Directional shape provides float for powder excursions, brings stability and control and provides pop. The nose of the taper is 10 mm wider than the tail. This offers smooth turn-in and turn-out, speed stability and more lift in deep snow. 
 
Profile
The Directional Camber comes with a rocker at the nose for best float in deep snow. A camber under both feet provides edge hold and stability at high speeds. 
 
Flex
The Directional Flex offers increased pop in the tail and a more robust nose, making it easier for riders to maintain control in all terrain and conditions.
 
Construction
The FSC® certified Super Fly II® 700 g core with lighter wood on special zones of the core offers pop, stability as well as a reduced weight. In Dualzone® EGD® design, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edge on two continuous zones that run perpendicular to the rest of the core for consistent edge grip and durability. The Squeezebox improves pop and performance through a balance of thick, powerful core areas and thin, flexible areas. The rider's energy is transferred from underneath his feet to the outside, activating the tip and tail and making the board swingier, more stable and easier to control.
The extremely light Carbon I-Beam® backbone promotes pop and longitudinal bite. Super Sap® is a bio-based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50 % compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxy resins. Less petroleum consumption means a better carbon footprint per board. The recycled, sintered WFO base is treated with a specially formulated wax that penetrates deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material, providing an ultra-rugged base, all season and in all conditions.
