Built to grind, the Wes Kremer Hollow trucks by Independent
As one of the leading manufacturers of skateboard trucks since 1978, Independent has always been characterized by a highly qualitative and, above all, long-lasting design. The standard height of 55mm reduces the risk of wheelbite and the slightly lowered kingpin prevents to get stuck especially on Smith and Feeble grinds.
A hollow axle pin made of 4140 Chromoly steel with a hollow Grade 8 steel Kingpin make the construction almost indestructible.
The hollow design of the axle pin and kingpin make each truck 7% lighter than the standard Stage 11. This may not sound like a lot, but it is very noticeable especially at Flip Tricks because you can save a lot of energy due to the reduced weight.
