Great Telescopic for touring and hiking

I use these poles for everything from splitboarding to backpacking. They are fantastic. Lightweight and they fold up really small. The only drawback I can think of is that the powder baskets need to be on so they don't float about. The baskets have two notches in each that snap onto the pole shafts to hold them together in a compact package. When used as trekking poles, the baskets will collapse and fall around on top of your pack. I use elastic cords to hold them together in these cases and it works ok.
They fold easily and quickly. When you unfold them, they are already extended to where you want them to be when you want to use them. With other telescopic poles you have to find the right length every time you take them out, not with these. Just keep some rubber bands or elastics with you when using without the powder baskets.
