YOW Chiba 30.0″ Dream Waves Series Surfskate

The YOW Chiba is a surfskate that may be the shortest in the line, but it offers ample width that makes it feel like a 34" board rather than a 30" one. Due to its compact size, it's agile, making it perfect for those who prefer shorter boards. Its design is inspired by the Mini Simmons surfboards, bringing the fun of a short, round surfboard to the streets.

Riding style
The movement on the YOW board is so similar to that on a surfboard that it acts as a surf trainer, as you directly learn the posture and weight shift required for surfing. The Chiba is ideal for fast, tight, and radical maneuvers. 

The YOW System
The YOW Meraki S5 surf skate system is the latest generation and is significantly lighter than its forerunner. The vast rotation of the front truck allows for tight turns, but due to the 5 mm spring, it is a little less responsive than the S4 system. It was designed for riders above 50 kg body weight and for all those who are looking for a more stable ride.

Setup
The components are perfectly adjusted to the board. The soft wheels provide the best grip and speed, even on rough surfaces. The deck comes in a proven maple wood construction.
