I chose the Eivy base layer top because it is known for being versatile and stylish. Since I enjoy both skiing and hiking, I prefer products that can be used for various activities. When shopping for base layers, I prioritize comfort, moisture-wicking ability, and a good fit. I tried a size small and noticed that the Eivy base layer has a looser fit compared to other base layers. For your reference, I am 172 cm tall and weigh 57 kg. Despite not being tight, the fit was still comfortable, allowing for freedom of movement during both skiing and hiking sessions.

I tested the Eivy base layer top during spring hikes and skiing days in various conditions. The moisture-wicking material performed well, keeping me dry and comfortable throughout. The top's stylish design stood out, but its looser fit, while comfortable, may not provide enough warmth for colder days on the slopes. The soft interior made it cozy for both outdoor activities and lounging at home.

Pros include versatility and comfort, while cons include less insulation and a looser fit. Overall, I enjoyed the top's functionality and style but suggest offering a tighter fit option for those seeking more warmth.

Eivy was born out of the lack of sufficient multiFUNctional women specific base layers. Bored of just seeing plain, mono colored base layers, in 2009 Anna Vister decided to take matters into her own hands.
