Product description
Beyond the borders
Designed by the legend himself, the Candide ski collection comprises only high-quality materials, innovative shapes and profiles. Each ski model embodies the feeling of liveliness and freedom, starting from skiing and the great outdoors. An inspiration for boundless creativity.
The BC 111 is the ski for ambitious backcountry riders. With 111 mm under the binding and an almost flat camber with large rocker in the tip and tail, it can be manoeuvred almost effortlessly through demanding terrain. Its low weight also makes it an excellent touring ski.
Riding Style
A freeride/touring ski for advanced riders. This ski offers top performance for deep powder, remains stable in difficult terrain and yet playful for freestyle-oriented riding. The lightweight construction still makes it an excellent touring ski.
Shape
With the Directional shape the nose is slightly wider than the tail. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in soft snow.
Profile
This ski comes with a subtle camber under the binding and a large rocker area in the tip and tail. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable in powder and offers great uplift.
Construction
The C-Light core is made of paulownia and poplar wood covered in fibreglass and carbon for a light but stable ski with loads of pop. The slightly textured Corund topsheet prevents from scratches and makes your skis look permanently fresh. The P-TEX 4000 Base is the fastest and most durable base you can get.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
