All-mountain freestyle performance for creative riders - the Alek Agent snowboard from the Rome x RK1 collection

The RK1 guys - Stale, Alek and Len - grew up riding in Norway together. Along the way, they created RK1 and they continue to put out video edits with their unique approach to snowboarding. To share the stoke with other riders, Rome created the Rome x RK1 collection.

Alek Oestreng is a rider who lays down heavily creative stuff in the park, films progressive shots in urban terrain and spins and slashes in powder. Whatever he drops into, he shreds with a unique perspective. The Agent gives him the pop, precision and moderate flex to be able to flow into any type of terrain.

Riding Style
A responsive freestyle board for intermediate to advanced riders. From rails and kickers in the park and booters in the backcountry to street rails at night, this board got you covered.

Shape
This directional twin will provide you with some extra float in the deep fluffy stuff while still providing excellent switch riding capabilities. The nose is slightly longer than the tail but the width is the same. The stance is centred.

Profile
The traditional camber profile consists of only one positive preload from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control and a lot of pop.

Flex
The stiff flex provides you with a very responsive board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.

Construction
The SuperPop Core Matrix increases pop by using poplar wood, combined with three separate zones of low-density wood for a lower overall weight. The Sinterspeed Base is super fast. Ideal for gliding in cold powder and for hitting takeoffs at the right speed. In the StraightTraix 30 Laminate matrix, the 30-degree fibres allow for plenty of forgiveness in the park, while at the same time delivering power for slashing hardpack.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Rome

Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001. Their goal was to create a brand that "lives the values of snowboarding and innovates products that increase the one thing that matters most in snowboarding: fun." They have overshot their goal by miles, and as true snowboarders at heart, we are stoked to have them as a part of our team.
