THE PERFECT FREESTYLE SNOWBOARD FOR FREERIDERS

It's fun, fun, fun! These simple words are probably the best way to describe the hyper. This directional board is at home on the whole mountain and lets you see your favourite runs with completely different eyes. Carve on the piste and in powder, or take your freestyle skills into the backcountry, the Hyper will put a smile on your face in any terrain.

Riding style
A fun all-mountain/freeride board for advanced riders. Carving turns on the piste, surf turns in the powder or creative freestyle tricks in the backcountry. With this board the good times never end.

Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. Especially on icy slopes they unfold their full potential.

Profile
The C2x profile comes with a short rocker between the bindings, with a large camber underneath the bindings. This combination offers a good edge hold thanks to the camber areas, as well as good uplift and unlimited freestyle action without catching an edge thanks to the rocker.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.

Construction
The G3 Lite construction is environmentally friendly, robust and Gnu's lightest construction design. The core of aspen and paulownia wood is very light, sustainable, robust and poppy. Bi- and triaxial fibreglass surrounds the wood core and provides the necessary stiffness and durability. The topsheet is made from eco-sublimated organic beans. The sintered base is very fast and stays that way if you take good care of it.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Gnu

Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
