Gnu Asym Headspace C3 155 Snowboard
Forest Baileys Twin Freestyle Masterpiece
Forest Bailey loves his Gnu Head Space. His bold manoeuvres on metal and concrete and his visually pleasing airborne aesthetic carry over seamlessly to his art. In the perfect combination of award-winning technology and Forest's original work, comes his dream board. Now ready to be ridden by you! It features an asymmetric twin shape, Magne-Traction® edges and has the Mervin Made Zero Hazardous Waste label.
Riding style
The Gnu Head Space is the freestyle board for intermediate and advanced riders. Take it to the park and the slopes and you will love the way it moves under your feet.
Shape
The human body is asymmetric. Turn mechanics on a tow and heel side turn are completely different. Gnu builds in asymmetric balancing concepts to each side of your snowboard harmonising with nature and creating a more efficient, less tiring, unreal ride. The Head Space is built with Level 1 Asym: asymmetric wood core, which means softer flexing on the heelside, and asymmetric sidecut, which means deeper sidecut on the heelside.
This board also features Magne-Traction® Serrated Edges, which deliver unreal edge hold and turn ice into powder. The serrated steak knife technology consists of 7 strategically located and sized edge serrations that provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions: entry serration, mild serration and deepest serrations between the feet.
Profile
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with a mild rocker between the bindings. This offers precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more float than conventional camber profiles.
Flex
The medium flex of the Head Space allows you to rip pow, press your way through jibs, spin your body in weird ways and carve up everything, from slush to ice.
Construction
The Asym Unreal G1 Eco Construction features a wood core made of Aspen and Paulownia, which is light, strong and poppy! The Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax Fibreglass is strong, light and poppy, while the Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet is tough, sheds snow and adds traction. The Eco-Sublimated Sintered Base is fast, tough and holds wax. The UHMW Ultra High Molecular Weight Sidewalls are made from a soy-based elastomer and are tough and fast.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Gnu
Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
