New Dainese back protector equipped with multi-layer sandwich structure. The protector's innovative nature consists in the new method for the integration of the various materials used such as Crash Absorb® and Nydaplast®, (patent pending), on one hand, and in the differentiated design of every single layer in the sandwich on the other. As one result of a challenging research project, D-TEC® identified the shape and thickness and methods required for the integration of each one of the materials used in the protector’s 6 layers. This research led to the development of an extremely lightweight protector provided with extraordinary impact force absorption performance. The protector offers even higher performance than specified by Standard EN 1621/2 – Level 2.
