The Astro - a board with lots of volume for deep powder

The Astro by Vimana is a playful yet very demanding board for powder and backcountry. You can use the snowboard perfectly for tight tree runs or an open powder field. You can either ride this freeride weapon in your normal length, or shorter to use it as an extremely manoeuvrable powder ship.

Shape
This freeride weapon comes with a directional shape and setback. This means you have the perfect position for really good floatation in powder and can leave beautiful lines. The pintail provides a surfy feeling, endless feelings of happiness and whooping on the descent. 

Profile
Powerful, lively and precise - Traditional Camber. Offering snappy suspension, the camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. If you like to haul ass and go big, a camber is irreplaceable. The Early Rise Nose is your built-in guarantee to glide unstoppably through the deepest powder.

The medium-hard flex provides a precise and controlled feel so you can focus on what's in front of you.

Construction
The Ultralight Wood Core is a continuous, light poplar wood core for lots of pop and snap. With the sintered 7200 Base you are always the first at the spot. This base is one of the fastest available on the market. The tail is reinforced with a Carbon Plus insert and therefore offers you extreme edge grip, even in high-speed carving.

Snowboard er ofte levert klart til bruk med en vokset base og skarpe kanter. Likevel, "factory tuning" er ikke så veldig holdbar og ditt nye snowboard bør bli ordentlig vokset etter et par dager og vedlikeholdt.
