Shape
The Solution has a directional shape which increases float and stability at speed.  In deep snow the blunt nose makes sure less snow comes over the sides of your nose than it would with a regular shape. This means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight. Edges like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech 2.0 improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.

Profile
The directional rocker profile has an under-foot camber with a larger rocker area in the nose than in the tail. The float of the rockered nose improves manoeuvrability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. The slightly rockered tail maintains power and stability.
Quick Tension Tail features a built-in climbing skin tension system using pre-cut notch that eliminates the need for a traditional skin tail clip.

A stiff flex (8/10) will ensure very precise response and control.

Construction
The heart of the Solution Split is the dual-density full premium wood Control Split Core designed specifically for splitboards. 2:1 paulownia to poplar stringer ratio keeps core light yet ultra damp. Multi-axis stitched Triax fibreglass laminate offers a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions. The Carbon Stringers add torsional stiffness for improved response and increased pop. The carbon layer keeps flex profile dimensionally stable for a consistent ride for the lifetime of the board. The Bio-plastic textured topsheet is made from Castor beans featuring a subtle texture for added durability. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to topsheet). The Sintered 9900 Base, made of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and Carbon is easy to repair thanks to the UHMW-PE. All Jones Snowboards are factory tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
