In harmony with the snow and in harmony with nature
Jamie Anderson won countless medals at world-class contests and took the sport to a new level. With the Free Spirit, however, she is taking a completely different path, as the eye-catching, short, wide shape convinces at high speed and with incredible carving performance. The Free Spirit with Camber 3 profile offers you stable freeride performance. Ideal for challenging lines, high drops and deep powder.
Riding style
All-mountain/freeride for advanced female riders. This board is perfect for fast turns on the piste and in the backcountry. It offers plenty of float in deep powder and reliable performance and stability in challenging terrain.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider and longer than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. Especially on icy slopes they unfold their full potential.
Profile
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with subtle rocker between the bindings. This provides precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more uplift than conventional camber profiles.
Flex
The stiff flex provides you with absolute running smoothness and stability at high speeds, giving you a precise ride feel and a lot of pop.
Construction
The G3 ECO construction is environmentally friendly, robust and Gnu's lightest construction design. The core of balsa, aspen and paulownia wood is very light, sustainable, robust and poppy. Bi- and triaxial fibreglass surrounds the woodcore and provides the necessary stiffness and durability. The topsheet is made from eco-sublimated organic beans. The sintered base is very fast, but requires careful maintenance.
